Your day starts with a proper introduction to surfing — we’ll get you familiar with your board and cover the essential safety basics before we ever hit the water. From there, it’s straight into the fundamentals: our instructors will walk you through the technique of getting up on the board on dry land before you take it into the water to find your balance and get a feel for the waves.
The day is structured around two main water sessions with breaks in between for tea, coffee, and a relaxed lunch. In the afternoon session we focus on the next step — reading and catching waves — so by the end of the day you’ll have gone from complete beginner to someone who has actually surfed.
We keep things flexible and responsive to how you’re progressing, so the pacing adapts to you rather than the clock. Expect a full day in and around the water, with plenty of hands-on instruction throughout.
